Jakob Nennmann is a doctoral researcher in the \u201cDe-Globalization and Global Decoupling (DeGlobE)\u201d doctoral programme at the University of Erfurt, funded by the Hans B\u00f6ckler Stiftung. His dissertation investigates the \u201cIntelligence-Industrial Complex\u201d and the integration of private intelligence companies into intelligence services. His research focuses on the relationship between the state and capital, transnational hybrid spaces of power, and the implications of these developments for sovereignty and democratic oversight. Empirically, the project compares the case clusters USA\u2013Palantir\u2013Europe and Israel\u2013NSO Group\u2013Middle East.
